    Whew, Thanks. I did just have a mechanic install a new throttle and while he was doing that he made some adjustments he saw necessary. I also had the motor trimmed all the way down.

    Should water be coming out thru here?

    I started my boat up today and noticed a lot of fumes and smoke as well as water coming out of the three holes on the back of the Mercury 125 outboard. Fumes and smoke are unfortunately normal for my boat, maybe it’s the 2 stroke? However the water was a little concerning. Is this normal?

    Yes I believe that is the piece! It looks to be spring loaded so there’s a chance the spring is bound up. Do you know how I’d gain access to this?
