I recently took my flame arrestor off to clean it. I didnt pay attention to where the PCV hose was connected. There's nothi
ng on the carb or arrestor to connect it too. My best guess it that it was attached to the clip as pictured.
I did look at the manual, pg 71, but the illustration falls...
Update: The cable slack is due to the perfect pass servo motor not working. Checked electrical connections.
Short term remedy: I disconnected the perfect pass cable from the throttle cable and tied it off, then reconnect throttle directly to throttlebody. I also took the fuse out of the p.p...

I do have perfect pass, so now I'll make sure its working properly. (Figured I'd never actually use it)
