My seat Pedestal is missing some screws and it's shaky. Anybody have any idea what size screws do I need to secure that pedestal plate?

Usually the problem is what the screws screw into. Soft deck?

Not sure what's underneath plate. I have missing screws and the seat is wobbly. And the screws that are there will not come out without a lot of work or maybe stripping them. Just trying to get this old gal shaped up for next season.

can you access underneath the fiberglass the screws go into? if you can, i would replace the screws with bolts sunk head type, with big washers underneath to spread the load.

Are you talkin about the screws that attach the pedestal to the deck or the screws that attach the seat to the pedestal?
