Hello everyone I have a automatic bildge pump that comes on quite a bit, I've looked for leaks but can't find any. Does anyone else have this problem?

Get in the engine compartment with a flashlight and get dirty....you have to locate the source.

You may not see it, but it's there. On my '95 bowrider, I had the same issue. Then one time with the outdrive up, right after launching (engine off), I heard a bit of trickling. I never 100% found the leak by just inspecting. I assumed it was one or more of the bellows in the outdrive.

So that next early spring, I replaced them all. The shift cable bellows had a nice crack in it. The others looked OK. I assumed that was it because after that, no more leaks. I wrote up a post here with a picture that shows the large crack...it's in the tech forum.

Yeah, there was a trickle leak coming from one of the trim tabs, but I had that fixed last year. I'll be ok as long as the bilge pump keeps working. Next time I have it out I'm going to give it a good once over to see if I can find where its coming from.
