Anyone know the location of the stereo amp for the subwoofer? Assuming it's on the starboard side but I just can't track it down. I have a 2008 DA. Thanks for any help.....

@rdickson, Did you ever locate the amplifier? I just purchased a 2008 38 Sundancer and I am not able to find the amplifier either. I looked under sofa like you did since that is where the parts list show it and it was not there. I've looked every other possible place including under the dash. My last option is to look behind the power panel. Thanks Ken, I looked behind the sofa, found the Sirius module but that was it, nothing else back there. Behind the power panel makes sense, it's literally the only place with a access panel that I haven't looked. Thanks insfnds.
I have the same boat. My amps are behind power panel. You should be able to remove a few screws and it will hinge down.@rdickson, Did you ever locate the amplifier? Thanks for the quick reply! Just hauled out on Friday so this will be a good winter project. I plan on replacing the Clarion CMD5 stereo and I have some speakers that need replaced. I believe the amps are fine, but it was driving me crazy that I could not locate them. If the cockpit amp matches what I found in the illustrated parts list then its the same amp I had on my old boat (Clarion APX480M). That was a good amp. This link has a complete parts list for the 2008 38DA in case you have not found this: https://manualzz.com/doc/53333965/sea-ray-2008-sundancer-38-parts-manualI have the same boat.
