Okay, here is the newest dilemma.
I tried turning on my spot light and NADA.
I call the marina and they tell them to look at it. They look at it and say everything works fine (no fault found). I get to the boat on Saturday and it works. I try it on Sunday and it does not work.
The rocker switch lights up but I dont get the power light in the spot light control. I have checked for loose wires but have not found anything.
Any ideas ?

what kind of light? big silver one or white flat one? :)

Sorry, its an ACR type.
The white flat one.

that light is a little tricky
it has a keypad with only coax wire attached to it, and controller module and is digital (that worst part to test)
do you have power coming to control module? (master controller)
if yes:
turn off power to control module, unscrew coaxial cable on both ends and check connections, reconnect and turn on breaker
if still no go you may want to check power output from module to verify that spotlight itself is not a problem (remove spotlight and check for power on wiring under spotlight, if there is none the problem is with module or keypad)
there is good and bad news now
modules and keypads manufactured now are not backward compatible with all older models of keypads and modules, but they will work with older spotlights - you will need to replace both keypad and controller module
if problem is with spotlight itself, acr can rebuilt it for you

This thing is funny. When it works everything is good. When it doesn't the power light on the control module does not go on but the light on the rocker switch (which should send power to the control module) does go on. So as not to confuse you, I think the control module is getting no power.
I have looked for loose wire connections and blown fuses but everything looks good.

it may look god but check with meter if you can
coax cable can loose good connection too, but most common one is master controller going bad
Like I said - this light is difficult to test

Anybody know what the warranty period on this light is.
It has been on the boat for less than 3 years.
