83 245 sundancer wheres the battery charger

my 83 srv 245 is wired for a built in battery charger at the electrical panel (110v) but i have no clue where it is or where it used to be. please help. where is it supposed to be located in this boat?

It's pretty hard to see what's wired to your electrical panel. Could you elaborate on why you think that?
It may be easier to trace wires from your batteries. Chargers usually are wired directly to the batteries. Usually chargers are located near the batteries so the 12v wires are shorter. The longer runs are made with the 120v wires from the electrical panel to the charger. (works better with the electricity).
I would be surprised if a charger was original equipment but I guess it's possible. Would more likely have been added later.

the electric panel clearly states BATTERY CHARGER and after removing the 6 screws that hold the electric panel together,i took my finger and put it on the BATTERY CHARGER breaker and followed the wire that leads from it.But I cant seem to follow it all the way to the other end,it runs into the bottom of the boat. thanks

My 1982 Express had one (not factory) installed along side the two batteries in the bilge.
CAP10PAT is right about chargers are mounted close to batteries. But someone could have mounted it remotely inside a cabinett. Following battery cables , should lead you to it.

I replaced my (along side battery) charger with a new 30 amp that I mounted in cabin , and ran Heavy (6/2) cable to the batteries. I had a NEW (non marine) charger that was not ignition protected. Works well , Charger is high and dry and will not be flooded -out like other charger had gotten.

Not sure on a Dancer if both batteries on on the same side(left) as mine are.But hunt around under deck and in /under compartments and you may find ALOT of stuff.Did on mine.
