Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent boating safety course? We were told by our insurance guy who has are auto and house insurance, that if I take a boating safety course, that we can get a 15% discount on our boating insurance through them.
I saw this place http://www.boat-ed.com and you can take the course online. For a 15% discount, I need to take one some where....

You can also try The United States Power Squadron. It is similar to The Coast Guard Aux. They also offer other boating courses such as piloting, advanced piloting, cruise planning, weather, and a few others. http://www.usps.org My local squadron just had a rendezvous in Rock Hall, MD with 45 members and guests attending the event. It was a great time. Members can event get a discount when joining Boat US. Good luck, Russ
