Trying to figure out if I can use this to replace my existing (broken) Norcold fridge (transformer is burnt out), or at least if I can rip the electrical off the back of it and hook that up to my existing unit. If I knew the model number I might be able to at least confirm via schematics that I can reuse the guts, just in case I can't do a full install. Current owner not sure of the model number, but says it came from a late 80's Sea Ray.

Found out that the fridge was a DE-704C, and that yes - I could reuse the electronics to rewire my old DE-400. I transplanted the entire power supply setup for the DE-704C, plus the thermostat, into my old fridge. Only real wiring modification was due to a difference between circuit breaker and thermostat wiring from old machine to new, but have it humming along nicely now!
