compliance plate 400 db

Hi All,

was wondering if anyone might know where Searay mount their compliance plate..might be called a build plate or USCG plate..
I guess it is similar to the once they rivit to cars..

I can't find it on my boat but I guess I am looking in the wrong place

I need to register my boat here in Australia so was wondering if someone could help

If you are referring to a "capacity plate" those are not required on boats over 26ft and if you are looking for the hull identification numbers (HIN), those are generally located on the transom, upper starboard side. NMMA compliance is not mandatory, not sure where or if tags are displayed

The compliance plate is somewhere near the helm, but it will not give you hin#, only the various standards to which the boat was built.

Both the HIN# and Sea Ray's production number are on the stbd corner of the transon just below the rubrail as sr360aft said.

Hi Guys,

thanks for your help..couldn't find any mfg plate but luckily our Waterways authority (Your USCG) accepted the HIN number

So now I can register my boat..and cruise one of the best places in the world
