Hi, it's that time of year here in the Chicago area where the boat is prepared for a great summer.
For Christmas I was given a Humminbird fish finder to navigate the shallow and murky waters of the Chain of Lakes and Fox river here in northern IL.
Anyway, I have a Humminbird 190c to install in my Sea Ray 180. I am having a very hard time getting myself to drill holes in my transom to install this sensor. I realize that some people place the sensor inside of the hull, but then cannot use the temp function. I am also having trouble with finding a place on the instrument panel for this, where it wouldn't seem awkward.
I have kept this in the package in case something better comes up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
