I am very glad that I found this site. First of all, Hello everyone.
I have a 1978 sedan bridge 240 that my dad and I have almost completely restored. However, since we got the vessel, we have had trouble with the overheating of the port engine (this model has dual 470 ci motors.) Replaced waterpumps, thermostats, hoses, and in the process of replacing the circulating pump. Any other suggestions would be great.
Also, We are looking to sell our Sea Ray upon repair of this problem. Any ballpark ideas of what a reasonable resale price would be. We have checked the books, and as of last year, the suggested price is at about 14,000. I know no one would touch it a that price, but I dont want to under price it so as to lead people to believe that there are problems with the boat.
Please help, and I t will be great to become acquainted with some of you.
