Howie-In-The-Hills? Florida Lakes

Yea ok this past weekend I attended a model train show (in deland FL) as a vendor.

The Truck has GPS and I like to let it take me the Alternante routes for some sight seeing.

Well I went through this town called Howie-In-The-Hills in Lake, FL.

Anyways there are some awsome looking lakes there. Has anyone been to any of the following lakes?

Lake Harris & Little Lake Harris
Lake Eustis
Lake Dora
Lake Apopka

The only bad thing I saw was the ramps to the lakes were close because of low lake water.

Lake Harris had some very very nice public docks and ramps.

The Harris chain is really clean and popular. Stay away from Lake Apopka, you could turn green or grow an extra finger from swimming in it.

Thanks for the Tip, I didn't actually see Apopka just on the map so I figured I'd ask.

I could tell the Harris lakes must be popular based on the public Ramps/docks area they had. Nicer then I've see for the Tampa Bay and Gulf so far.
