Well, After all the pain in the ass of trying to sell, we decided to bring it home to the Lake Norman this Monday.

Just not worth selling right now. TOUGH market. And you'll get offers at 40% of your asking price regardless of condition even if your asking price is well below the worth of the boat.

Im excited to have it 20 minutes from home now though vs the 3 hours it was. Maybe we will use it more.

Lake Norman is certainly very nice. I have even contemplated moving our boat up there for the experience of some different waters but Wylie is only 15 minutes from home.

Dave,

Where are you going to keep the boat? There are several empty slips on the H dock at Kings Point.

Hope to see you out on the water!

Jim

Who did you use to transport your boat and did you have a good experience? Did you have to disassemble anything for the transport?

Thanks,

T

Im using a local guy. He picks it up on Monday AM (ill be there also).

The canvas is coming off as well as the tracvision, but thats it.

Can you do me a favor? Ask him if he can haul a 47' Chris Craft from Folly Beach to Atlanta, GA (Lake Lanier). If you are happy with him, I might need his number.

They are both resevoirs on the Catawba River but you cannot boat between them due to the dams and lack of depth in the river.

No can do. My 310 is about as big as he can go. Went well, with exception to a few things.

Good luck shipping yours. Nerve racking as hell if your present during the ordeal.

You're going to enjoy the heck out of Lake Norman. We moved our 370 Dancer from Wilmington to Lake Norman years ago and enjoyed it alot more since we didn't have the 3 hour drive each way to contend with

try Horsepower Marine, they moved my 370 twice and are local to Charlotte area. 704-483-0112 I believe that Gary is the owner. You have to stay on them if you want them to be timely but they did a good job hauling. They'll even wet launch off of their trailer into fresh water saving you a lift charge if you want

Agreed. Im a full time student, and working full time so it was tough to get down there. What Marina did you end up at?

We were at the Peninsula Yacht Club, (M dock) it was a great place and some really great people. But we left in 2005
