Since we have the same boat for what it's worth I agree with your location fpr the antenna. We have a chartplotter and our antenna is in the same place (port) opposite the VHF (stbd). I like the location and it keeps the dash view cleaner (IMO).

Thanks, I knew there was someone out there that felt the same way I did. I think it is the best installation but the dash installation is a nice alternative. Since I have to go through the STBD side anyway what's one more hole?
