Ahoy all, just thought I would share my recent repair to my snap in mats. So I bough my 300 back in September and it spent about two months in the shop getting some repairs and upgrades. The last owner didn't do a very good job taking care of this beautiful boat, but she is in good hands now. Anyways lol, after bringing her to her new home slip I decided it's time to clean her up and pulled all the mats and covers off. When I pulled the mats there was a lot of what I can only describe as black sand under their the mats on deck. I flipped over the mats and the rubber was rubbed off and in pretty bad shape, but the carpet looked good. So I brought them home and decided I was just going to redo the rubber seal on the bottom of the mats. After some deep thought, research, and a few beers I decided I was going to try Plastic dip spay and paint. It worked beautifully. It took a couple hours and about three coats of both the paint on and the spray, but it seems to be holding well, flexible, and stopped all the rotting rubber from coming off. I'll know more on how it holds up this spring, but I'm very optimistic. Thanks for reading my babbel hope this helps someone else somewhere.
