Stern Light

Howdy folks, I have a 1987 250CC that has the stern light on the windshield. The kind that in which you loosen the thumb wheel screw, raise the light, and then tighten the screw. As you can imagine what happened is the thumbwheel nut us stripped. Any ideas on if you can even buy a new thumbwheel nut or am I better off buying a whole new base set up?

Just buy a stainless steel wing nut of the correct size.

Check the hardware stores. They often have similar thumbwheels that might work.
