If Fay stays to the west of Florida, she could bring us some serious rain by the end of next week that will help all the lake levels in the area. Just in time for Labor day. Would be nice to get several inches of rain for once.

Bite your tounge sir! :smt021 I'd rather pay to ship you salt water from the gulf then have TS Fay come anywhere near us.

The latest tracks show coming right at us in Tampa as a Cat 1 Hurricane!

Come ooooooooooon FAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously I hope this storm doesn't do a lot of dmage but it's about the only thing that will break the drough stranglehood here in the South. Even though most of our lake levels are pretty good, ground water is at an all time low and the drought is deemed to be worse this year than it was last year. We have had sprinkling bans in place for over a year now.

Agree with the minimum damage for our coastal members, but those soaking rains would be great for us.
I am on a well here, so its always is in the back of my mind that it may go dry one day. But we have 20gal./min. at only 185' deep. So my chances are slim, but either way, rain is needed for the S.E.
