Does anyone have advice on installing a Vacuflush head/holding tank in a 1980 260 Sundancer? Especially size and location for the holding tank? I've seen other boats with Sani-potties, but I don't want to go that route.
Hi there, I am researching a similar upgrade for my 1995 27' Sundancer (270DA). I currently have a Jabsco/PAR toilet with an electric macerator pump and a holding tank. The pump simply sucks raw water from a seacock in the bilge to the toilet and at the same time pushes waste through the sewage line to the holding tank. It is a little smelly and seems to have limited flushing power. For this reason, I am considering the vacuflsuh upgrade. I think it will be a little pricey but can't imagine it will be too tricky to install.
What does your boat have for existing marine sanitation?
