I have taken my boat out a few times this year and after the last time I found water in the bilge :wow: Approx 1 quart or so (not enogh for the pump to get it out ) . The weather the last time I was out was VERY rough and the past two days has been really windy. I keep the boat in the slip and was wondering if this is normal. This is the first time since its been in the water that I have seen ANY water of any kind in that area. I have a float switch and the battery wasn't drained so I'm assuming it wasn't pumping out water all week long. I will do the obvious and get ALL the water out and then monitor it but was just looking for opinions. Thanks. BTW it has new bellows and drain plug so I don't think thats the issue. I asked a guy at the dealership and he said its normal but to monitor it

Well, I did some online research and it looks like the person at the dealership was right. An accumalation of small amounts of water is normal with use. I still appreciate any feedback and everybody being patient as I'm new to boating and know some of my questions seem dumb to you more experienced boaters. Thanks everyone !!

It's easier to diagnose if you know when the water collects. Is it only after running? It could be rain water that seeps under the deck then runs to the bilge after you're up on plane. If it sits for a few days, does the water still accumulate?
I had this pestering problem and traced it to a slow drip from the sea water pump. Look for cooling system leaks while the engine is running and warm. Use a flashlight and be careful.

Wetvac it out and wait and watch. the water is going uphill to leave the boat, its not going to pump it all out. It should remain dry.
