Well this is embarrassing but not surprised.

Well this is rather embarrassing but not surprised.
Both Bidens team and Trumps team agreed that all spectators in attendance would wear masks. In typical Trump fashion the Trump entourage removed their masks as they were seated. The agreement also said all persons attending would have a Covid-19 test that day and have a negative result. Did the Trump team have the tests as they agreed too or did they just give lip service to the University and the people that organized the event, that too would be typical Trump fashion.

Where did you copy that from?

Fox, CNN and all the news networks had posted the rules both sides agreed to.
It seems they got things not quite right....maybe even FAKE NEWS.

This from an ABC article.....

All attendees were required to obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR test on the hospital campus within 72 hours of the debate to gain admission. Masks were required, and the crowd was limited to 300 people.
But that didn't apply to candidates or their traveling parties, according to the Cleveland Clinic, which partnered with Case Western Reserve University to host the debate in Ohio on Tuesday. Campaigns were responsible for testing their own personnel.

"We had requirements to maintain a safe environment that align with CDC guidelines -- including social distancing, hand sanitizing, temperature checks and masking. Most importantly, everyone permitted inside the debate hall tested negative for COVID-19 prior to entry," the Cleveland Clinic said in a statement. "Individuals traveling with both candidates, including the candidates themselves, had been tested and tested negative by their respective campaigns."

The Cleveland Clinic said there was a "low risk of exposure" to guests based on their safety measures, but planned to address attendees' questions or concerns.

It seems your quoting Fake news again.
President Trump's party at the presidential debate on Tuesday refused to wear masks despite a requirement by the venue that they do so, and they turned down a Cleveland Clinic staffer who offered them face coverings.
"In terms of what went on the hall, it was curious. The Biden camp, Mrs. Biden, Sen. Chris Coons of Deleware, all their people, all came in wearing masks and wore them throughout the entire debate," Wallace said Friday. "The Trump family came in, I'm told, wearing masks but then took them off once they sat down in their seats. That actually violated the rules of the Cleveland Clinic, which was in charge of all the safety"

And here is another source.

Fox News’ Chris Wallace said Friday morning that while moderating Tuesday night’s debate between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden, he didn’t see the Trump family wearing masks. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump both tested positive for the coronavirus late Thursday.

“Everybody that was in that hall had tested negative. The interesting thing, however, was that the Cleveland Clinic, which set up the safety rules, said that everybody in the hall — with the exception of the president, the vice president and myself — had to wear a mask,” he explained Friday on “Fox & Friends.”

And then there is this from the debate commission.

It was a violation of rules that both campaigns agreed to, Frank Fahrenkopf, head of the Commission on Presidential Debates, said in an interview with The Washington Post.

“The first family came in wearing masks, but they took them off. The rules said you had to wear a mask,” Fahrenkopf said. “Everyone in that hall was supposed to keep the mask on, other than the president, Biden and Chris Wallace.”

Iprof, we have just illustrated the problem with the 'news'. Your sources differ from mine which was ABC. So who made the error, or who lied, or who distorted?...... It isn't me.

You quoted a news source I quoted the head of the Commission for Presidential debates and I quoted the Cleveland Clinic and I quoted at least 4 different news sources but you keep resorting to one news source that the Presidential Debate Commision says is wrong. I also quoted the debate moderator that disagrees with your one fake news source.

I disagree with you on almost every point you brought up. Trump is in it for himself and not the country. Congress has passed stimulus bills but they get blocked or vetoed. Biden has said he will NOT raise taxes on those making under 400,000 a year, he's been very clear on that. Talking about money going to illegals is Trumps spin to try and keep votes. His Presidency has been a disaster, his waiting 6 weeks to act on Covid-19 has cost American lives. His failure to institute a national plan to eradicate Covid-19 has still never happened. He pitted state against state to buy needed medical equipment. He refuses to take the advice of medical experts that have been warning him about Covid-19 but his response it will go away when the warm weather comes but your 401ks are looking good. That's all Trump cares about he makes it very clear every time there is a rise in the stock markets. If Trump cared about America why is his clothing line still made in China why has he used steel from China in every building he has ever built. Trump is only concerned with Donald Trump.

Would Biden or any of the dems closed the country faster than Trump? With their sham Impeachment proceedings, calling his travel ban Xenophobic and Nancy's come down to China town....pretty sure they'd have left the border open much longer than Trump did.

You didn't quote that Commission head, you quoted what the Post said he said. I quoted what ABC said was said. They don't match and they should. That's the problem with the media. So who made the error or who lied? I wasn't me....and it wasn't you.

So post your link which probally does not exist. You seem to not believe the head of the Chairman of the Presidential Debates Community.

It was a violation of rules that both campaigns agreed to, Frank Fahrenkopf, head of the Commission on Presidential Debates, said in an interview with The Washington Post.

No. As a matter of record, Joe Biden would have just stopped counting cases and deaths relegated to the China virus, much like he did during the swine flu.

Well Woody I posted my links now man up and post your link to the ABC article.

Well this is really embarrassing for you Woody.
From your Link.

Trump family members flout rules, go maskless at 1st presidential debate
Moderator Chris Wallace said the campaigns used "an honor system."

"We had requirements to maintain a safe environment that align with CDC guidelines -- including social distancing, hand sanitizing, temperature checks and masking.
There is nothing new or embarrassing in what you posted. The part I posted is direct from the body of the article, masks are mentioned there too. If you want to argue the point get a hold of ABC, they wrote the article.
