I'd like to replace my 3 batteries with dual purpose AGM's, but my mechanic friend says I should really use starting batteries for starting the two engines. Somewhere on this site, I've read about how the three batteries are configured (assigned), but I can't seem to find those posts now.
All three of my batteries are on the starboard side of the boat. Two of them are outboard of the third. I thought I had read about other 310's having one battery on one side and two on the other, so I'm not sure if mine is an unusual situation. I have two questions:
- Do any of you folks have your boats configured with all three dual purpose batteries?
- Is there any way to know the function of each battery based on the locations I described?
Thanks for any input
