I have the MANs so I am not sure about the Cat burn rates. But knowing the boat fairly well I'd imagine your burning 45-55 gal/hr anywhere between 22-24 knots. The hull seems to really like minimum 23kts loves 25-28kts but the fuel burn would be a bit higher.
I just figure on 1/2 mile gallon...
+1 Generator runs from the time the boat leaves the dock until the time the boat returns to a dock. I've ran the generator for four days straight before, without the generator skipping a beat.
Once back to the dock I let the generator run for three or four minutes after the AC is back on...
We did it last year with the same concerns, it was fine. Get a Sea Tow membership and call them two weeks before your trip. They will escort you through. Give them a nice tip.
Worked great for us!
2200 hours on a diesel generator is nothing... Especially if maintained well (ie. Regular oil changes). Expect 5000-6000 hrs if maintained, before an overhaul is necessary.
When I did the credit thing, on large purchases I'd print my three reports (and scores) and have lenders have a look, and give me their anticipated rate. Worked well without having to have a dozen inquiries on your report.
We went Saturday, was alright not really that great of a boat show. Hate to say it but Regal was really on their game, the 42 was had a great design & layout. The Sea Ray's seemed to have a "corporate" feel to them, but still their quality & fit/finish was still better than most of the other...
Paul - great pics of your 560, really represents this Sea Ray well.
The 560 tends to be overlooked, and I am glad this post is getting some action and creating more awareness of this spectacular Sea Ray. I really believe the 560 has become a great value for anyone looking for a Sedan Bridge...
While doing your search, check out Achilles. We have an Achilles and choosed it because it had more floor space compared to similar length tenders (some tenders have an extra 2"-4" more tube from the stern), which we needed for the dogs. We also found the Achilles had a wider bow than most...
Very valuable statement. Onceyou find your perfect staff, in many cases, one things goes even further than $$$ - Recognition. If you hire the right people and give them recognition, you will have a successful business.
Otherwise, for most any a retail type business as several have mentioned...
Here is a short video I wanted to put under the "Bridge" section but couldn't figure out how to post until now:
