    Fox Marine Gateway

The power for the NMEA 2000 backbone is on a separate switch at the helm. As soon as I start the engines I turn on the switch (or turn it off and on) so the engines can notify the Fox devices.

    Fox Marine Gateway

I still have the Fox Marine Gateways and they still work great! I recently added a Raymarine A128 and it sees the Fox Marine data was well.

7.4L Horizon - Ejected Spark Plug Insulator

Star b Star bolts on top yes, however the throttle cable is attached to the throttle body and will prevent you removing it easily. There are also sensor wires and a vac tube underneath it that may bind when removing it in one piece.

    Sea Ray indifference........

My WWD802M stopped spinning. I pulled the motor and the repair place said it was fine and was probably the control board. I just sent an email to Dinosaur. Is your washer (board) still working as repaired?

7.4L Horizon - Ejected Spark Plug Insulator

The manual said 100 psi was the minimum and that was the worst cylinder. I could have warmed up the engine more but #97-25 says to check at room temperature.

7.4L Horizon - Ejected Spark Plug Insulator

All done and put back together. New heads, exhaust, sensors, new exchanger and coolers, hoses, wires and and added Neutra-Salt systems. Compression is around 110 and the engine runs smooth. I still have a slight issue with the throttle and rpms (as I did before) that I need to track down. No...

370 AC - wire path from bilge to helm

Due to growth and worms here in Southern California we need to have a company come out once a month and clean the bottom of the boat. The diver will also check/replace anodes if needed. It is $68 a month and keeps the bottom clean and helps prolong the paint.

370 AC - wire path from bilge to helm

Uh oh. I measured the existing transducer and bought a Garmin one with the same measurements. I hope I do not have to have them cut another hole...

370 AC - wire path from bilge to helm

Good to see the transducer is ready. I like your approach. I ran an 8-pin 30' extension cable down the starboard side since I had to remove the upholstery panels due to a window leak. It then goes behind the microwave and the fridge to the transducer location. Your route probably would have been...

It was the exhaust valve seat as you said.

7.4L Horizon - Ejected Spark Plug Insulator

I think it is just the reflection of the oil I sprayed it down with and the angle of the light but I will be sure to check it again before I put on the heads!

7.4L Horizon - Ejected Spark Plug Insulator

I tore down it down to the block last weekend and got it cleaned up. I have the new heads and other new parts ready to go at home. I had the brackets all blasted and powdercoated, and purchased all new coolers as well as new hoses. I also bought new sensors, sea water pump, exhaust and even a...
