Enjoy the boat, This thread and Kevin are a great place for learning and replacing most parts of the boat. I have done it piece by piece lol
Kevin recently tried to help me find an intake manifold, which I thought I needed when my engine hydro locked. Turns out (after finding one)...
i believe most if not all automobile parts are aluminum.. This needs to be cast iron as the boat is raw water cooled.
Here is a link to the part https://www.perfprotech.com/m-fold-asy-intake-860100a2/product/185496
or here...
I have
5.7L throttle body cast iron
I dont believe a car part would work for this, as this part was made specifically for this engine by mercruiser and was only manufactured from 1999-2002
Thanks
I hope someone can help.

Really not much to look at. I cleaned out the rot, then cut a few pieces of plywood to size, painted it white and stapled it back in. I did this about 3 years ago. The wood rotted due to the port window leaking (yea I removed and re-caulked them the year before).
This weekend the horn...
Remove the whole cabinet and repair or replace whatever you want. I did mine 2 years ago. I removed some of the rot and added a few pieces of plywood. Microwave held in by 2 screws on the top of the cabinet.
I posted this on another thread but I thought I should repost here. I replaced my quack horn with a Stebel 11690019 - Nautilus Compact Mini Air Horn Black. About $27. You can search on Amazon for it. So far I highly recommend it. No more quack. A real air horn sound.

Update:
The lower track was separating from the door at the bottom. I drilled a small access hole and put 5 new screws into the door and track. I could place an access hole where it is not seen. Success. The door slides great now.
Had the marina splash the boat today, however, they said...
