  • Ok, help needed. We have a 2003 360DA with a blocked head waste line. Boat is in San Diego and we're here in AZ. My service tech informed me that I have a hard blockage about 4 foot down from the toilet and about 8 foot down from the holding tank. Initally the tech snaked the line as aggressively and could not clear the blockage. The blockage is 4' from the head and 8' from the pump which puts it under the port fuel tank. There does not appear to be any meaningful access to that part of the bilge or any of the run for that matter. What the tech recommends is that we remove the head and try to pull a new piece of hose through with the old, if the hose is secured with clamps in the bilge we may end up removing the carpet in the aft cabin.

I'm in the camp of forcing a smaller diameter poly tube line in the main waste line and force the blockage from the holding tank toward the head itself. Maybe easier to have the head removed for this procedure. Thoughts?? Input...
