Not sure where to start diagnosing or what parts to start replacing on this one. Any help is appreciated.

'05 QSCs - Last weekend started her up, ran 15 secs, died. Odd, never happened before. Didn´t think much of it, started up again, fine all day with several start and stops and long runs.

This weekend, fired her up in the morning to warm up for an oil change, ran fine, idled 20 mins or so, no problems. Shut her down to start oil change.

Changed oil, fired her up as usual. Ran fine for 30 seconds to a minute and then the gauge's panel shuts off and motor dies at same time again just like last weekend. Try to start her again a couple mins later....took a bit longer to start but started, ran fine for a bit and died. That was it. Done trying for now.

I hear pump spool up when turning ignition on, no codes or alarms. Just craps out.

At a loss. Any thoughts on what to check or start replacing?

Thanks in advance,

J

I suspect you are losing voltage to the engine control circuit that is causing the fuel supply relay/solenoid to open and shut off fuel.

Thisd is most likely a problem in the wiring provided by the manufacturer. If this were a Sea Ray you would need to check the harness plugs behind the switch and gauge panels, but you are going to need to get help from Cabo resources on this one.

Thank you. I'll see what I can find out about that.

I was thinking maybe fire suppression cutoff on FireBoy acting up but then thought it would impact both motors.

It must be something that "resets" too since it lets the motor start up again.

I'll certainly keep this thread updated with any progress too in case someone else down the road has similar issue.

Cheers.
