GEL COAT COLOR NEEDED

I have a 1996 370 SunDancer and need to some Gel Coat repair. Is the color Arctic white or Lilly white?

Any advise on the repair would be appreciated. I painted the rear deck with an anti skid 5 years ago and it has began to peel. So I took the pressure washer to it Sunday and took it off. However right at the transom door there were an excessive amount of small stress cracks from walking thru. The fiberglass is solid but because of so many cracks parts of the Gel Coat chipped exposing the fiberglass. It area is approximately 18" x 18". I am thinking that I should grind and smooth out all chips and bevel all the small cracks than apply new Gel Coat. Does that sound correct for repair?

Get you HIN# and call Sea Ray support. They will give you the color code from the original gel coat. Then call Spectrum Gel Coat and they can reference which one it is and set you up.

Just remember - it will be an exact match for the color on the boat back in 1996 which has aged so there will be a slight variation. Don't worry too much as the white blend fairly nice and once out in the sun will age and will not be noticeable.

just like on a car the back of your boat is a serial number that will tell them the color you need . Call spectrum in Florida they match any color in spray gel or paste. Good Luck
