Yes as a matter of fact it did, didn't realize it until I got back to the dock. Both of those breakers popped at different times as a matter of fact. What causes that, could it have been with the starter or alternator? Thank you for your reply.
Yes, rode home 3hours on the one engine with a...
Strange happening.
Took the boat out Sunday, ran it for an hour, ran great. Anchored for a few hours, fired up generator, fired up port engine, tried to fire up starboard and it wouldn't start. Wouldn't turn over at all, tried using the parallel and still nothing. Turned the ignition switch...
Thanks Bill, I may have figured it out. For sure that hose that's in my forward bilge is the sump drain. Seems my sump bilge had failed and the over flow water traveled down to where that hose goes through the bulkhead. The seal was not good enough so the water was passing through the hole...
I stand corrected on this now that I really looked at my sump today. Both a/c's run into my sump not into my forward engine room bilge. Now I have another issue, where does that drain hose lead to that's in my forward engine room bilge? I am getting fresh water inside.
Here's a photo of what it looks like when it develops a leak. Second picture is the repair. You can access the hose without removing the sofa, there is a vertical panel that is easily removed at the end closet to the sliding door.
I would think it's just stark white formica. How about changing it to white starboard instead? Maybe flounder pounder might know what the exact color is. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I agree with you on the water running into the bilge. Drive me crazy that the a/c condensate runs into the forward engine bilge too. Bilge pumps are constantly working, and i am constantly keeping an eye on them.
Talking about water drainage, have you done anything with your trunk staying...
Just a heads up for other 40 Sedan Bridge owners and maybe this has already been discussed, sorry if it has.
But when I had my starboard sofa out, I noticed water intrusion that was coming from the side vent drain, rear starboard corner. Seems the fitting had started leaking over the years and...
40 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge Television Box Update
Did the television box removal this week. Very easy job, I wish I had done it years ago. Removing the box was the easy part, removing the black spray paint that Sea Ray used inside the box on the wall and ceiling was the PITA. Used acetone...
So would this be for a 3116 also? CAT Oil Pressure senders: 7E4275 for single station and 7E4276 for dual station.
Thanks,

1998 40' Sedan Bridge 3116's
Hello everyone, one of my oil pressure sensors is wrong and causes my gauge on the bridge to get erratic. For sure it's the sensor as I have switched them on the engines and the opposite gauge does the same thing.
My problem is that my sensors are old and I can't seen any part numbers...
Old engine out. New engine in Monday hopefully. Both sofas removed, port hatch had to come off, wouldn't open all the way because of the door molding.
New (Cat rebuilt) engine, cleaned and painted bilge.
