UPDATE - Had a local Marine Mechanic come and change out the Starter, Starter Solenoid and the 90 amp fuse and all is now once again, good in my world!

No Sir, which would indicate that the Slave Solenoid may not have been bad. I chose t change it based on 3 things;
1 - I have seen stupider things with electrical components.
2 - The assumed age of these two components.
3 - The relative ease in replacing them.

Thanks, however, what I am finding is that it is not so much the motor that makes it difficult, rather the actual year, make and model of the hull.
Mine looks like it is going to be extremely difficult to do.
