    Engine Compartment filled up with 1' seawater

    Hose clamp let go on the Port engine's raw water hose. Got it fixed and with water is all pumped out. Concerned salt water got to the bottom of the oil pan. Any suggestions on what to do to reduce future errosion?

    Tricky Repair Project - Windlass

    Had the boat at anchor against some rough side-surf last summer. The force on the windlass bracket was side-ways and pulled a holding-screw right out of the hull. I am unsure of how best to repair this. Thinking just putting a fresh screw in the same hole wont last. Does anyone have thoughts?

    Yearly Bravo 3 mainenance - splitting open drives ?

    So, I clean, paint, replace anodes yearly but have been hearing that internal corrrosion is an issue also. That barnacle build up happens inside. Does anyone have opinion on weather splitting open the OD's is recommended and what type of cleaning you should do if you split them apart? Thanks

    Mercruiser Engine Oil Extraction - Only getting 2 qts

    Using the west marine extractor and got 4 qts the first use but now am only getting out 2 qts everytime. Its weird. The 1/4 inch tube is a 1/2 inch shorter than the dipstick. Anybody have the same issue and know of a pump that works better? Thanks

    This may or may not be a reasonable question but here goes.. My Mercruiser 350 MAG engines have a spec for (I think) 90 octane gas. Is there any harm, or is it better for the engines, to put super unleaded in them? I have the opportunity to fill up with Super - 93 octane thanks for your inputs!!!
