    I'd believe flat tappet cam, but pretty sure this is the 250hp engine, according to the sales brochure it's the 250hp Magnum with the Alpha 1 drive. Why they offered so many engines I don't understand. The serial number comes up Magnum when I looked it up.

    I put a thermostat in yesterday before our first outing. It had a 180 automotive one in it, replaced with a 160. Cruised around the river for a few hours, the old 200 did really well. Down trim relay isn't working correctly so I'll order one. And the trim gauge isn't working so I'll look into...

    Thanks, I look forward to getting back on the water. coming from a 3.0 175 I'd be happy with 48mph ;) I have, thanks. Options on this 200 seem to be 5.7, bow filler cushions, halon, bimini top, and bow/cockpit canvas.
