My anchor windlas is giving me fits...Over the w/end, I replaced my anchor with a 14lb Delta anchor, and now the motor is running, and I can't get the line to go up or down...before that, it was working, but sometimes kinda slowly...every once in a while, I had to tap the side to wake the motor...
Been having problems with my gen set since I've got it...but for now it's running again...just had to replace the fuel pump (2nd one in the past 6 months)...but yesterday after I got it running again, I've noticed the volatage at my ac outlet is 105 volts...is that "safe" or should I "tweak" the...
But both have been replaced before, I've got paperwork from the previous owner showing work was done...what's the best way to tell if it's the compressor or needs recharging?
Both are not cooling. Does anyone know if I have to pull the units to have them "recharged" with freonor can it be done onboard? The ice maker in the cockpit does have an access panel under it, but I don't see anything on the refer...

Quick update, I replaced the voltage regulator today, had to adjust the voltage and check the htz, all is well! I was lucky enough to have the manual, so it walks you thru things step by step...so, for $225 Im set for this w/end cruise...
Thanks...I was talking to a few "sailboaters" who have purchased a braket they bolted on to the rails aft, so I'll be checking that out first...It might be easier simply to defllate it and then secure it...
I live on Chisman Creek near the York River, and also noticed the water has been brown for the past couple of weeks. The tides are still running below average also...enjoy your trip, we're heading north to Deltavile for the w/end...regards!
Getting ready for a w/end getaway, and was wondering the best place to secure it. I've now got it blown up and secured to the rails on the fore deck...will that be okay? Still not sure how to stow the motor for the trip yet either...first time out with it...any gelp would be appreciated!
Quick update...ran some tests and determined (I hope) the voltage regular is fried on the gen set...evertime we tried to adjust the voltage, it immedately went back to about 192 volts...ordered a new one on thursday (not cheap), and should have it Tuesday, hopefully this will do it and I'll be...
on my DC panel under the deck in the cockpit, I have a red breaker "emergency pump" that is not working...two questions, what's it for, and where do I get one?
...on my sundancer going below is set up for "high" and "low" voltage, the high works when pluged into ac, but I can't get the "low" to work...is it also a 120 vot 15 watt light or is it DC?
