My 2013 SeaRay 30 foot Bowrider with V8 8.2 liter has developed a delay going into forward of about 4 seconds. Just starting recently. Reverse is fine.
Any suggestions on how to fix this. ?
Hello all, I'm having an issue where my starboard trim won't go down at switch but will go down at solenoid when jumped to test according to the Mercruiser manual. So unfortunately the solenoid is good, which means it's either a wiring issue, or more likely an issue with the button on the dual...
My boat began beeping today and that is the error message I got. It said return to port and see dealer. I couldn’t start the boat until I gave it nuetral throttle. It would crank but wouldn’t start without the nuetral throttle. I was able to return just fine but I didn’t go very fast and I’m...
I tried to raise my outdrive/propeller out of the water the other day on my Sundancer 250 and the switch on the throttle is not working. I hear a little clicking down at the outdrive, anybody have any ideas? I heard it is not a fuse or electrical problem, that was from my boat mobile mechanic...
My 2007 Sea Ray Sundancer 240 maxes out at 35 mph; however, it takes about a minute for it to start accelerating even with throttle all the way down. So the boat will cruise at 5-10 mph and then eventually speed up and pretty quickly even though I haven’t touched the throttle for about a minute...

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but should I have to hold the throttle in position for the first few low idle speeds, and then it stay automatically once I am going a little faster, usually once a wake is created? Or should I be able to push and have it hold by...
I need help! I either need to replace or repair my throttle controls. However, there’s several wires which I have zero idea of what they are? Does someone have any knowledge about these shift/throttle controls? Thanks to any and all who are able to help me.

My new to me 04’ 300 DA the shifters for F N R are kind of stiff . . . During the winter I will replace the cables and etc but for now what’s the best way to get them to loosen up a little, it’s usable but I can tell it’s not as smooth as it should be.
Thanks.
Nick
Hi,
I've been the proud owner of a 400DA since the end of Novermber 2012. I really love this boat and because I have been handed down the dreaded DIY curse from my father I am presently spending more hours tinkering than boating. But it's still winter and just maybe i will be able to get ahead...
I have an 88' 270 with OMC 4.3/Cobra. I was going out for a ride this weekend, started to plane out, and the starboard engine would only rev to 3500 rpm (my normal cruising rpm) that was with the throttle control wide open. The port engine was able to rev much higher. Both engines seemed to run...
After running a tank of gas with injector cleaner additive, the engine looses rpm.
Description if issue:
At idle, I go to 3/4 throttle and rpm climbs to 3200. I then go to full throttle and rpm drops to 2000 rpm. If I throttle back slightly the RPm's climb back up or if I quickly cycle the...
Hello everyone, I am a new boater but i am very familiar with automotive. This problem has me stumped. the port side throttle cable was adjusted because it was taking to long to go into reverse. Now it goes into reverse and forward fine but i cannot get the throttle only button to press in. Any...
I've been trying to find out the answer to this question from many sources to no avail. Does the following Mercruiser Control have a dent adjustment screw adjustment on it anywhere? The Mercruiser manual shows a screw but I don't see it when I remove the cover. They are used to adjust the...
