Helping a friend with her 07 260DA. The Ignition Switch has come apart. The Parts Manual shows the part number as 1409366 . How is this ordered with the correct Key letter designation? In her case it is "N". Is this something that is keyed at the factory? Also, I saw the ignition listed below on Flounder Pounder. Obviously, it will not be keyed the same as her current keys, but will this ignition be the proper replacement? It looks the same.

This is not a Sea Ray specific part, so don't get too caught up in getting an "OEM" part. There's no reason to get one that matches her current key since the new key switch will come with a set of keys. It's worthwhile to get a good one -- I would get a Cole-Hersee, 4-position key switch. I don't know what brand that is (that you linked to), but it is not a CH. Sierra is a less expensive brand, but the CH is worth the extra few bucks.

Thanks Dennis! The one I posted the link to on Flounder Pounder looks identical to the factory switch on it now, except of course it does not have the SR branded keys. Do you know if the 15A Ignition, 30A Solenoid, 15A Accessory is the correct rating for the '07 260DA? If not, do you know what rating I should be looking for? The switch is not marked and the parts manual does not specify. Thanks!!

Hi Jason. Regarding the amperage, I do not know. What I CAN tell you, though, is that I have NEVER, EVER worried about that or even checked into that... Ever. And there has never been an issue due to amperage ratings on any switch that myself, or anyone at the shop has installed.

Jason................LWM should have one in stock. I returned a brand new one I never used when I sold my boat. It comes with it's own key.

Thanks Dave. I went ahead and ordered the one off Flounder Pounder. In case it does not work for some reason, do you recall the approximate cost?
