I have a 2001 182 Bow Rider, and there's no 12V present on the stereo memory connection at my stereo. The wiring harness diagram in the owner's manual indicates that the stereo memory fuse is near the battery in the engine compartment, but I have looked all around the engine compartment and I can't find the stereo memory fuse holder or the yellow wire that runs to the stereo.

I called the service department at my Sea Ray dealer and asked if they could advise me on the location. I regret that they weren't able to give me much in the way of direction, although they did say they had 15A fuses in stock if I needed a replacement.

I would really appreciate it if another 182BR owner with knowledge of the location of the fuse holder for the stereo memory connection could give me some directions on how I can find it.

* I am able to answer my own question. The STEREO MEMORY and BILGE PUMP fuse holders are in the 182BR engine compartment on the port bulkhead, above the positive post on the battery. (See photos.) The STEREO MEMORY fuse holder is the upper one.

A 14-gauge red wire connects direct from the battery to the fuse holders. See Owner’s Manual, Drawing No. 09-601 (2 of 2), page 6.10.
