1981 Sea Ray SRV 200 Tilt Trim (DOWN) Issue

Hey I'm looking for some guidance on a problem with my outdrive not going down on its own.

I either have to have someone push down on the outdrive while I hold the down button on or continuously work the outdrive up and down until it goes all the way down. (The outdrive goes up with no issues)

With that being said I think the pump is good. Is there any maintenance I can do to get my outdrive to go down normally again without any trouble?

Does the pump run when you press the down button? If it does then no fluid is being pumped. So the problem is hydraulic. If it doesn't run then the problem is electrical.
