I have a 1989 280 Dancer. One of the smaller hatches closest to the windshield (I think the size is 10x10) came out of the gasket/weatherstripping it had on it. There's no way to save it since it has separated into 2 pieces. So I called Taylor Made, but the sent me a "D" sponge gasket.

I have no idea how this is supposed to go on since the old gasket had a ridge in it so when the hatch closed, the ridge came down around the metal ridge that is built into the frame.

Has anyone had any experience with having to replace one of these, or am I better off buying a whole new hatch, if I could even find one of those?

Thanks,
Steve
