Bought a new to us 1998 400 Sundancer last weekend and getting ready to bring it home to Huron OH, question is about the tank valve(starboard/port) selector premade hoses. I think one may be leaking so the previous owner may have the selectors set to prevent the leak? Not sure and won't be back till the survey a week from Friday but took a picture of it and attached it here. My question is, where can I get a replacement hose this short that is premade? I was in the engine compartment while the boat was running last weekend and there was no smell of gas but I snapped some pictures while I was there and when I got home and was going through my pics, saw a drop hanging off that hose? Motors ran great, smooth and no smell of gas so anxious to get back up there and check it out. All the years we have owned our 330 I never messed with those, port was set to port and starboard set to starboard?

Thank you in advance as this forum is a big resource for our beloved Sea Ray's. Getting ready to sell my awesome'96 330 soon as we get this one home, it's currently located in upper PA.

A local hydraulic hose shop can make it for you. Most decent sized cities have at least one of those nearby.

Pretty sure NAPA can make them, surprised you can't find them new on line. Thanks

That's been leaking for a while based on the stain below it. Definitely something I'd address before your trip home.

Based on the starboard selector being slightly askew, I wonder if the valve is leaking and not the line set, perhaps the prior owner found a position to minimize the leak? You can see the leak originates above the fitting based on the color of the top part of that fitting. Though I have no idea what that valve looks like, I've never looked into mine. Might be worth getting up into that box before you buy new lines.

STEE6043, you make a very good point!! In the years with my 330 I never messed with those valves and they never leaked. Thanks!

It's definitely leaking some where. But like others said any hydrolic shop can make it ,but could be the value, have it looked at if need be

Tape some paper towels in key areas to determine if it's the valve or hose. Gravity works.

Anyone ever tighten one of those up? Is there a packing nut on there like a water valve or are they replace only? Can't wait to try and locate one of those.

Definitely get that fixed asap! I had a local hydraulic hose company make me OIL lines when they started leaking. Pirtek if I remember correctly.
On a side note are those fuel filter/water separators mounted to the front bulkhead? Ours are down on the engines.

They are mounted up by the valves in the engine compartment, my 330 is the same way. Found the valves on Summit Racing which is right by my house should I ever need them, $35.99

You don't have both? I've got 2 on the bulkhead and one each motor. Four total filters.
