1999 Sea Ray Sundancer 330 navigation light replacement

Festoon bulbs, but mine were plastic and getting quite chalky so I replaced them with LED SS.

ok. I removed the top screw but it seemed to just take the chrome top off. How do I actually get at the bulb?

I'll take a few tomorrow. I am assuming they are original to the boat (Sea Ray 330). I can't seem to find any instructions on how to replace the bulb. You'd think it would be easy, but I don't want to start prying on anything unnecessarily.

My '98 had nothing but white plastic and I believe 1 screw down the middle...

The screw I removed today just took the chrome cover off, but the unit was still intact and I could not see any more screws to keep going. I pushed and pulled a little bit on it, but thought best to stop before I broke something. I'll try again tomorrow. Appreciate the help!
Cheers

Yes, it looks a bit like that. But when I removed the top screw just the metal top plate came away. The dome around the bulb was still in place

Actually, forget the post above.... This what I bought and they fit into the same holes on the deck. I like the LEDs on top as you can see them from the helm and verify that they are working. I purchased the 2nm visibility.

The base screws down the next piece snaps down and then the top is screwed down, I think... Sorry I did mine 8 years ago.
