2000 340DA Cockpit fridge replacement Norcold NR751BB

After the OE Norcold died last summer I purchased this "drop in" replacement. Although it wired up easily and fits in the general opening size, I cannot get the frame to fit flush by at least 1/2" on the left side to screw it down. The increased depth of this new fridge could be interfering with either the hull, fiberglass bulkhead, wiring bundles and/or cockpit sink drain line on the right side of the opening. Anyone have the same issue? If I have to open up the left side of the cutout the fridge will not be centered and then the frame will not cover the opening on the right side. So much for an easy swap.

I had a similar problem on an older model, the opening was a little big, and the depth was short, so I did this.

1/2" thick routed trim, wrapped in vinyl

Very nice and a great idea. That door looks like it will stay shut in rough water unlike the one I have now.
