2002 260DA Fuel Sending Unit Location

Does anyone know where the fuel tank sending unit location is on a 2002 260DA? Having some issues with the fuel guage sticking around 3/4 tank. When i turn the engine off, the needle goes to empty, when i fill up the tank, the needle moves to full. However, once the needle gets down to 3/4 tank, it sticks and doesn't go lower. I'd like to test the sending unit and also the float arm inside the tank, assuming one of those is bad.

I believe it's through the midberth center floor section, if memory serves.

@Lazy Daze Ok thanks. I'll have to take a look next time i'm on the boat. Hopefully i won't have to pull out seats to get under there.

The tank runs UNDER the midberth floor. There would be no seats in the cockpit to pull, regardless of where the sender is. The only other place the sender could be is towards the rear of the tank, which would be under the fresh water tank 'shelf'. That's the worst case - pull the tank/shelf - but that's pretty easy, too.

Ok. I found a thread about a 2004 where the sending unit was under the cushions of the aft bed (i think this is the same location you mentioned). I will check there first, and then i'll check under the fresh water tank. Thanks!

in a 2006 240 dancer its under the mid berthing and very easy to reach
