2004 340 SeaRay Sundancer Propellers

I have 2004 340 SeaRay Sundancer does anyone know the orrect diameter and pitch for the starboard and port props?

You should verify, but you probably have 4 blade 18 x 21 and 18 x 21.5 props on 1.5” shafts. That’s what may 2004 340 with 8.1S Horizon engines came with.

I couldn't remember which is which so I pulled the following from my per-purchase survey.

Port: 18 x 21.5 LH
Stbd: 18 x 21 RH

RJ is correct for 2006 and 2008 8.1 Horizon engines! But not all 2004 models.
Also, there is a Sea-Ray cup that was present in the stock blades too. I replaced a prop with the same Sea Ray model; I still had to have it corrected in a local prop shop to match cup of the stock one.

Glad you posted this. Definitely a difference between 2004 and 2006. I will ammend my earlier response.

I looked at the parts manual for 2004, and the hull number in 2004 matters. By the way, I would trust the parts manual over the prop guide. Parts Manual is on the Sea Ray website under Owners - Resources - Parts Manual. For 2004 model, certain hull numbers (1202-1349) it is Port 18x21.5Lx4.85 and Stbd 18x21.5Rx4.85, and for other hull numbers (1350 up) it is Port 18x21.5Lx4.85 and Stbd 18x21Rx4.85.

From the factory they are under propped. I had my props tweeked 2 times. Right now I max out at 4550 RPM and cruise at 28.5mph. Here are the specs. 18x22 and 18x22.5 with a .250 cup.

Underneath my HIN: SERT4313D404, is a second number, 340 SD A 1528. Is it this second "1528" that applies to the parts number discussion above? Or "4313" in the HIN? Thanks.
