Great boat, great price. your broker needs to take better pictures though. glws

Is there a windlass on your boat? If so, how much chain? The ad doesn't mention one.
Is there a TV/DVD on the boat?
The isinglass looks cloudy, or is that just in the pictures?
Have the duckbills in the vacuflush system been replaced?
Why were the electronics replaced, upgrade or lighting strike?
How long has it been since an engine alignment was done?
Do the shafts have dripless seals, or packing?

As I looked over the pictures and specs, these are the questions that I have with the boat. I haven't asked your broker these questions yet. I wanted to hear from you first.
So, yes I'm maybe working a deal on your boat. We'll see if the value of my boat screws the deal. lol

Is there a windlass on your boat? If so, how much chain? Yes, about 200' with 25' chain
Is there a TV/DVD on the boat? no we used a "Truckers" TV/DVD combo Skyworth 12 Volt. that allowed us to have it downstairs or outside (It can go with the boat)
The isinglass looks cloudy, or is that just in the pictures? Its the pictures, just had the front 3 panels done this year with Straglass, the sides were done maybe 2 years ago with isinglass.
Have the duckbills in the vacuflush system been replaced? no and never had a problem with them. we don't flush paper.
Why were the electronics replaced, upgrade or lighting strike? Upgrade to nicer bigger screen, old vhf the old mic died.
How long has it been since an engine alignment was done? I have not had one done and never noticed a reason too. Had the props checked & balanced by a speed shop in 2009.
Do the shafts have dripless seals, or packing? dripless seals.

Thanks for the interest in my boat and I hope this can work out for the both of us.

Well, the phone call didn't go so good. My boat gets in the way of a deal. They offered to buy my boat for 25k or wholesale value. haha I was ready to take a hit and write the check, but they want to steal it. 10k for the dealer to handle and resell it.

So, if your willing to take wholesale for your boat, I'll take wholesale for my boat, and Clarks will make a ton of money off both of us!!! Lol
Sorry, It was an attempt at humor.
I guess I'll keep running my 240.

Sorry to hear the phone call didn't go well. My broker is away this weekend working a boat show, but I'm going to talk with him next week when he's back.
I take it from the prices on boattrader.com you were hoping for $30k - $35k for your boat?

Yea, the value of my boat is somewhere between 30k and 38k, depending on where it is sold or bought. I valued my boat at 35k on the valuation sheet.

Hello Neal,
How do you like your 33 EC? I almost bought the 37 back in 99 but chickened out. I came close on a 37 ec 1997 a few months ago but we couldn't pull it together. I love the two EC's and I would use it for fishing and diving in the keys and the bahamas. I was never sure about the ride in a sea though and I can't find anyone to tell me straight. How do you use your boat and what kind of seas have you had it in, and how did it do? What do you like about it and what don't you like about your 33?

Curtiss,
With your last two post to this thread are you sure your on the right thread? It's about a 2005 Sea Ray 290 Amberjack that I am selling.

Yes the risers were replaced in 2015, manifolds were still in good shape. It's a Closed Cooling system and I would flush them after each outing either with freshwater or Salt-away. Mercruiser has added a quick connect to the raw water systems which makes it easy to do after each trip. I also have all the maintenance & repair receipts/records that I have done on this boat. The boat has been kept at my pier on a lift.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for looking.

Boat was sold! ...now to start the search for our next one.

We are looking at either 2008 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer or 2008 Sea Ray 350 Sundancer...
