I have an 07, this is an 06 with same cockpit layout? Does anyone else have this or is it custom

That was the way Sea Ray designed it and if I remember correctly, it was a standard item. That's strange that you don't have it. Maybe it was an option, though, and I'm just not remembering correctly.

Sea Ray changed a bunch of sport boat's helm and companion seat configurations between 2006 and 2007. I am pretty sure I have those years right. I went to the boat show and the seats of the 240 Sundeck looked like they came off the Star Trek set, so I asked about them.

We had a 06 290DA and it had the same helm seat with a companion seat.

Just flip it up or down , there is no latching mechanism .

I had a 06 240 sundancer since new and it was standard when i remember correctly.

Yes, there is no locking mechanism. Its just loose and flips up and down easier than it should. How can I make it tighter or have more resistance?
