2006 40 sundancer cummins

hey everyone, been out of the boat game since i sold my 05 340 dancer last april. well new year and im in the market once again. i looked at a 2006 40 sundancer today with cummins diesels. was wondering if anyone had any insight, things i should look for etc. or just general feeling on the boat with cummins engine package. any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks so much!

I'll bet that boat does very well in terms of cruise speed and economy with diesels. Good luck.

I have a 2006 44 Sundancer with the QCS 500's. They have been very reliable, I have had great luck with them. They get the boat on plane and up to cruising speed easily and the torque they provide during docking makes this the best handling boat I have ever had. I will also add two more things I feel are important. That I follow Frank's diesel fuel management protocol (can be found on this site) religiously and have yet to experience any fuel issues and that my boat came from my home marina so I was familiar with it before I bought it and know that it was maintained in the yard by an experienced Cummins Tech since it was new.
