Just wondering what the fuel consumption is at 2400rpm. I am burning 40 GPH total at 2400 and wondering if this is normal for the QSC 500. Port is 20.1 and stbd is 20.5.

Has anyone changed the a/c unit in the salon, and if so, were you able to remove the old unit through the access opening. Mine has a rusted condensate pan, but more important, the fan is starting to make a rubbing sound only when I switch the unit off. Works fine otherwise.

Thanks!

Remove the beam vacuum… then flip the unit on its side and remove all the screws that hold the fan…cut the wires to the fan and pull it out…bend the outlet tube and the unit comes out of the triangle hole

Fuel burn is pretty close to what I ran. I usually cruised around 2350 rpm.

Load up the boat for a trip, full fuel and water and run a WOT run. Make sure both engines get over 2600, should be around 2630 or so, and less than 95% load. If not pull some pitch out, you drop fuel consumption and only loose a small amount of speed and have very happy engines.

Does some one have the fuel burn curve for the QSC 500

I can't get it to down load from the site
