Am needing to replace my screen door and removed the outer door with ease but the inner door won't clear an obstacle under it. Am able to pivot the door left and right but not high enough to clear the track and there is something under the door preventing me from removing. Has anyone removed the inner door to replace a screen door and how did you do it?

Thanks,

Bill

On my 06 44 Sedan Bridge there was a stop installed in the track. Removed the door several times.

I found the same "stop" located under the "stationary door" but couldn't remove it to pull the door out. How did you remove this stop that sounds the same as what I'm dealing with? Many thanks!!

A pic would be great here. The safety stops are one thing but, have you retracted the bottom roller truck to further enable the bottom to clear the track?

Yes, lowered these all the way down and how I was able to remove easily, the outer door. The inner door has a "stop" that prevents the same that I'm trying to figure out how to remove as I can slide the door back and forth but can't clear the stop under, what is normally, the stationary door. Thanks,

How were you able to remove the "stop" as I can't seem to remove the track and can't see how to get to the stop to remove it? Thanks!!

How about a pic?

No picture can be taken as it is under the "stationary door" that I can slide back and forth but can't lift the door over this stop. Has anyone removed the stationary door and if so, how were you able to clear this obstacle to replace screen door? Thanks, Bill

It has been several years since I owned this boat and my memory is a little foggy! I think I was able to slide the door a few inches and lift the door clear. Try lowering the roller height first. Is there a notch in the track that will allow the stop to clear if lined up correctly? Sorry I can't be more help.

This is the inner door and has no rollers to adjust. I am able to slide back and forth on bottom plate but can't clear the "stop" under the door that's located about the center point where the two doors meet. Outer door is no issue and lowered the rollers and able to lift off easily....the inner (stationary) door is the one I'm having issues with. Thanks.

Thanks, will start trying again when the temps go down a bit....along with humidity. Thanks again,
