Just bought a 38' SeaRay Diesel engines 800 hours . Had a full survey done and had the diesel mechanics do the thousand hour engine maintenance, all fluids, belts and hoses. One hour in the ocean and fluid came out of the top of the port pod drive. Color indicates it's been mixed with a different fluid, it's now a green brown colour versus a turquoise. Mechanic's haven't looked at it yet but they're assuming it's the steering actuator.
Any information on these pod drives would be greatly appreciated this is the first time I've had pods.
