240 Sundancer trim tab panel swap

Hi I've purchased a Mente Marine ACS (Attitude Control System) for a 2007 240 sundancer.

Question: I havent looked in the access panel under the steering wheel. Can I expect to easily be able to remove the stock trim tab control panel and replace with the Mente Marine panel easily? I'm not sure what tools may be unexpectedly needed down at the dock.

Its easy to remove and replace the panel .

Please report your results - i installed the bennett auto tab system on my 2006 240 and it was unable to level the boat .

I posted question away from the boat. The Trim tab panel has its own screws on the dash to remove it. Doh!
The mente was able to level the boat, just one occasion an area of the river confused the heck out of it. I'm sure I'm going to get more familiar with it and have 100% success.

I'd recommend it, easy, easy install. Lots of cool features, like auto retraction when boat's shutoff. It tabs down when it senses you do a holeshot to get on plane. Has sensitivity settings (3).
